Summer wear essentials

Did you know that Summer is the hottest of the four temperate seasons, occurring after spring and before autumn. At or centered on the summer solstice, the earliest sunrise and latest sunset occurs, daylight hours are longest and dark hours are shortest, with day length decreasing as the season progresses after the solstice. With this immense heat it is preferred to dress according to the weather

here are some essential clothing to wear during the summer season:

1. Shorts

Be it cargo, khaki, sweat shorts or even beach shorts, shorts are a first choice when it comes styling during the summer heat season. A good button up shirt with khaki shorts and sneakers can be quite stylish yet weather friendly. You can try to dapper the look by changing the sneakers to loafers and adding a blazer on top. Either way shorts can be worn in various occasion but not all. Pulling up to a formal event with shorts doesn't really make sense.

2. Fabric

Fabrics such as cotton, linen, seersucker, chambray, even workout clothing material and many others come in handy when it comes to the hot summer weather. Always make sure to ask from the sellers if they have such materials at their stores. Some clothes actually do have the type of material printed at the back of the t-shirts and shirts for the material of the clothing.

3. Tank tops

Yes I know you're probably thinking that tank tops are used to mainly flex our muscles and gains from the gym but tank tops can actually be worn by guys of all sizes. This also took me a while to get used to but tank tops are a very stylish casual wear for the summer season. You can also pair it up with a jacket or button shirt and open all buttons with some nice shorts or pants and finish it off with some sneakers and you're good to go for that casual yet stylish look.

4. Glasses and hats

Sunglasses and a good baseball hat can help so much during heat. Especially during the afternoon hours when the sun is at its peak, walking outside without a hat or sunglasses in that heat can be a bit too much. I mean sure there's nothing wrong with getting some vitamin D but too much of it till you're feeling dizzy and dehydrated isn't good for you. As said in one of my previous blogs, a good pair of sunglasses can elevate your look to a more stylish look.

5. Light colored clothes

Light colored clothes are favorable during the summer season. Black colored clothes absorb heat which only make it even hotter when wearing such clothes. For those that are used to dark colored clothes, you can at least try changing up your outfits bit by bit adding one or two light colored clothes to help with the heat. Or at the very least look for lighter shade of the colors you're comfortable with.

Well that's all I have for today and be sure to try these essentials and tell me if it works out for you. On the next blog I'll be talking about ways to style a blazer. Be sure to share to your friends and also leave a comment.
